১ . জগন্নাথ প্রতিবছর নব রথে উঠে। নব মানে নতুন আবার নব মানে নববিধা ভক্তি। মানে ভক্তির রথে জগন্নাথ উঠে। ভক্তি দিয়ে গড়া রথ। ২ . রথের দড়ি বা রশি – বাসুকি। সেজন্যে বলা হয়, রথের দড়ি ধরলে পুণ্য হয়। মূলত, বাসুকির কৃপা লাভ হয়। ৩ . পুরীর রথের ৪২ টি চাকা। (বলদেবের রথের ১৪ টি, জগন্নাথের রথের ১৬ টি, সুভদ্রাদেবীর ১২ টি)। ৪ . পুরীর রথ চলার সময় রাস্তায় চাকার তিনটি দাগ পড়ে – তা হল গঙ্গা, যমুনা, সরস্বতী। যারা বার্ধক্যজনিত কারণে বা অন্যান্য কারণে রথের দড়ি ধরতে পারেন না, তারা যদি চাকার এই তিনটি দাগের ধুলি গ্রহণ করেন, এই ত্রিদাগে গড়াগড়ি দেন, তাহলে গঙ্গা-যমুনা-সরস্বতীতে অবগাহনের ফল লাভ করেন। ৫ . জগন্নাথের রথের নাম নন্দীঘোষ বা কপিধ্বজ। এই রথের ১৬টি চাকা। রথের রঙ পীত। ষোল চাকা মানে দশ ইন্দ্রিয় আর ছয় রিপূ। যা থাকে ভগবানের নীচে। ৬ . বলভদ্রের রথের নাম হল তালধ্বজ বা হলধ্বজ। ১৪টি চাকা আছে। ১৪টি চাকা মানে ১৪টি ভুবন। বলভদ্র হল গুরুতত্ত্ব। গুরুতত্ত্বের অধীন ১৪টি ভূবন। ৭ . দেবতাদের দ্বারা প্রদত্ত সুভদ্রা দেবীর রথের নাম ‘দর্পদলন’ বা ‘পদ্মধ্বজ’। রথের উচ্চতা ৩১ হাত। এই রথে ১২ ট...
